It has been a while since my last post, but I will be posting a life update this coming weekend! I have a lot I cannot wait to share!
Today I wanted to share my morning breakfast routine (recipe included!) with you all!
I have never really been a routine kind of a person, but with Sophie getting older and in her own routine as well as me being (now 20 weeks!!) pregnant, I have to admit that we have been benefitting a lot!
So to start off the morning, I usually like to make myself a cup of decaf green tea, with cream and sugar. I thoroughly enjoy picking a mug from my giant mug collection (this isn’t even all of it!), and I feel like it helps me start the day off right.
After I am done making my tea, I like to make Sophie and I either oatmeal or cream of wheat. I like to add fruit or honey to both, and this morning I was really craving my vanilla coconut & strawberry oatmeal! You guys can click the link below for the step by step recipe!
After I am done making breakfast I will split it up between Sophie and myself, as well as serving her some kind of fruit along with it. This day it was frozen blueberries (thawed), which is one of her favorites!
After I give Sophie her breakfast and her water or milk, I get myself a giant cup of water, my tea and oatmeal and sit down to enjoy! Lately we have been watching the Grinch or The Polar Express to start our mornings off!
